Southland’s Garden Grove office was recently awarded a Certificate of Achievement by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Southland achieved this award by undergoing a Biennial Inspection of Terminals Program which is conducted by the CHP. The Biennial Inspection of Terminals Program requires all motor carriers operating trucks from terminals located in California to undergo an inspection of each operational terminal. Once completed, the CHP rates the terminals’ compliance within the applicable laws and regulations relating to motor carrier safety.

Southland was awarded a Certificate of Achievement for their consecutive satisfactory safety ratings since October, 2007. Congratulations to the Garden Grove office for this achievement, which clearly exemplifies Southland’s long-standing commitment to safety.
